Yes, it is a real possibility and yes there are programs to help you! This is your opportunity to find the answers to your questions and take the first step toward realizing your academic dreams. The Department of Defense Voluntary Education Program is hosting its second Virtual Education Fair on Thursday, August 11, 2016, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Eastern Time), as a way to answer your questions in a no-pressure, easy-to-use environment.
Are there educational assistance programs available for military family members?
The Defense Department is committed to making higher education more accessible to family members of service members and veterans. The online fair is designed to enable your participation from anywhere in the world. That’s right, easy on-line access to educational assistance resources and all you need to do is participate.
The online platform offers a no-pressure atmosphere for you to discuss education programs, support services and affordable education options, with more than 40 academic institutions and government organizations. You’ll receive information on what to expect during the college application process, from the beginning and beyond.
